Before My Story, There Was His.
The Life, Family and Legacy of Hostilio Rodríguez de la Sierra y Melo follows a family history across generations, countries, and time—from Tenerife to Venezuela.
This forthcoming book gives family legacy a place in the work I am building today. It is a way of looking back while thinking about what we carry forward: the people, places, and stories that connect one generation to the next.
By David Secul. Forthcoming in 2027.
