Can You Be Too Open
How to Protect Your Openness
After experiencing a heart-opening, it is common to feel afraid of being too open.
This topic has come up many times in my recent sessions, and I want to share what I have learned about it.
When you feel the flow of your Heart Path, it is directly connected to your heart opening. One cannot exist without the other. In order to feel your Heart Path, your heart needs to be open. Once you do feel it, it is like a river picking up speed and momentum. Over time, this flow makes you more and more open.
In the past few weeks, many of my clients have felt this powerful Heart Path flowing through them. It is an amazing feeling, almost like a compass guiding you. You feel whole, loved, and completely connected to the universe. But soon after, a thought comes up: "What if being this open in the world is too scary?"
The message I have been receiving is simple:
Being open to your Heart Path does not mean being open to everything. You do not have to step into the world and let life’s forces push you around. The real key to openness is being open to YOUR path—your direction, your goals, and your dreams. If something excites you, follow it. The more you learn to listen to what brings you joy, the easier it becomes to avoid what drains your energy or does not feel right for you.
You do not need to try to close yourself off. Just focus on your own path, and let the flow of your energy and happiness guide you. There is no need to worry about what to avoid because you will naturally stop being drawn to things that do not feel good.
Of course, this might create tension in relationships, where others want you to follow their path, not yours. This is where it gets interesting. You have the choice to either open your heart even more or practice being selective about where you direct your energy. Both paths are great ways to expand your life; it just depends on what you want to focus on at the moment.
But remember, being open does not mean you have to direct your energy to everything. Your openness is a compass that shows you where your Heart Path lies. You do not need to force yourself to be open to paths that do not feel right.
Imagine being stuck in a family conflict with no solution in sight. Picture it like a stage where everyone is playing their parts in the same old drama. The patterns keep repeating, and then, as the oldest member of your family, you decide to hit pause.
From this moment, you have two choices:
1. Step back in with the same energy and patterns, letting it unfold like it always has. You already know what will happen.
2. Change your energy completely so that it shifts the entire situation.
You are the spiritual leader of your family, and when you change your energy, it impacts everyone else. By stepping into your full energy and connecting with the universal flow that is always available to you, you can release the old patterns. You can love everyone without trying to change the outcome.
This is the important part: love them without trying to change the situation. Loving them is about letting go—of the people, the old patterns, and any expectations you might have. Love them completely and without conditions. Let go. Let go. Let go. Release all attachments.
When you are ready, press play again.
Recently, I found myself feeling anxious and sad, wishing I could just escape those emotions. I wanted to feel better right away, but I knew there was no magic solution. So, what was the best thing I could do?
The answer was clear. I was shown that our mental states are like whirlpools, pulling us away from the flow of our true self, our Heart Path. The person we are meant to be is like the river of the Heart Path, but the patterns we carry from the past create these whirlpools that make it hard to act from our true self when they are triggered.
The answer was simple: to get out of the whirlpool of old patterns, we do not need to change anything while we are stuck. Instead, we need to strengthen the flow of our true self, the Heart Path, over time. By focusing on building this flow, the power of the whirlpool starts to fade. There are simple exercises that help strengthen this flow when the whirlpool is not active.
Now, imagine you are already aligned with your true self, feeling fully connected. You want to know what to avoid in the future to keep that alignment.
This was an exciting session! The person I worked with had already done years of energetic work and felt truly connected to their flow—alive and vibrant. However, there was still a small piece of doubt holding them back.
The message was clear: If you worry about staying in alignment, you might be missing the last piece. From the deepest place of alignment, everything is aligned. There is no getting off your path—there are just little moments where you wobble, but those moments bring you closer to deeper alignment. You do not need to search for things to avoid. Even if something feels off, it is actually moving you toward something better.
You are already in the flow of your own energy. Trying to stay there is actually separating you from yourself. The universe is always guiding you, so do not fear the future. There is no need to avoid anything, because everything is part of your path.
In the end, when you are fully aligned with yourself, everything flows effortlessly. Once you step into that alignment, you will feel your energy expanding, growing, and becoming more magical.
