Our World is Changing
The world around us is changing. I do not know anyone who does not feel this shift in some way. Just the other day, while I was at the grocery store, I jokingly told the man who was scanning my milk, “We are all living in the apocalypse.” He looked at me and said, “But really though.”
I thought about this later, as I read the news. I came across political events (unprecedented), environmental issues (also unprecedented), and an article discussing AI in schools, along with the growing levels of depression and lack of interest among young people. It all felt overwhelming. I could not sit still, so I decided to go for a walk outside. That is when I noticed the apple trees blooming.
In that simple moment, something inside me calmed down.
Despite all the chaos, there are still things I know I can trust.
Even though everything might seem unpredictable, the earth continues to follow its natural cycles.
There is a steady rhythm in all of this. At the very core of our planet, there is a constant, pulsing heart. This heart is something we can connect to, something that offers us a sense of safety and peace in times of uncertainty. No matter what happens around us, this rhythm is something we can rely on.
Now, more than ever, I realize how important it is to keep my heart open to the world. In a time when it feels like everything is falling apart, staying open is the one thing I can offer. It helps me stay aligned with something bigger than myself—the earth, the universe, and the cosmos. But what does it mean to keep your heart open?
It means not allowing the world to harden you or pull you off course. It means staying true to your unique purpose in life, even when things seem chaotic. It means letting your heart express its joy into the world, staying connected to the bigger picture, and offering something positive for others to resonate with. More than anything, it means holding on to your own happiness. It means enjoying the beauty of being alive, being part of this incredible, unpredictable world.
In order to stay open-hearted in such an uncertain world, we need certain things. We need to feel safe, grounded, and focused, even when everything seems out of control.
First, you need a safe space—a place where you can go to feel protected and restore your energy when life feels overwhelming.
Second, you need to feel that you have enough energy to face the challenges that life presents. I do not know anyone who is not feeling confused or overwhelmed right now with all the chaos going on. Life feels like a game of “what is happening?” for most of us.
Third, to stay true to your open heart, you need an energetic boundary. You need a natural shield that helps you filter out negativity and people with unclear intentions. I have no space for anyone whose energy does not resonate with me right now, and I am sure you feel the same way. It is important to stay focused on the things and people that truly matter to you.
Lastly, to remain on this path, you need a deep connection to your heart. You need to be certain about who you are and why you are here. The stronger your connection to your heart, the more secure and peaceful you will feel. And the best part is, by staying aligned with your heart, you will also serve as a calming influence for those around you.
Are you, a person moving through life in your human body, struggling to stay focused? Are you losing sight of what truly matters to you, feeling overwhelmed by all the noise and demands from every direction?
Are you feeling exhausted, stressed, and worried about the state of the world and the future?
If so, I have the perfect solution for you:
Surrender to your own path.
Trust in something greater than yourself.
Become a part of the larger, cosmic flow.
Let your heart’s song fill the world around you.
