Where Are We Going
Once you discover the true feeling of your own energy, the next challenge becomes remembering to return to it as often as possible.
This may sound easy, but it is often much harder than one might think, especially due to our wonderfully complicated minds.
Take a moment to think about something that you are struggling with, or something that you are overthinking.
Now, imagine if I told you that the best way to deal with it is not to think about it at all, but instead to trust the energy that flows through your body. Let it direct you through life and allow it to take care of everything for you.
That may sound wonderful, right?
Now, try it.
Within just a few minutes, you may find yourself back to overthinking. It is like a small irritation or something you cannot stop picking at, even though you know it will not help in the long run.
Trust is something that is developed over time, through repetition and learning. As you trust the flow of your energy, you begin to see how things unfold in ways that are better than anything you could control. You begin to trust this flow through experience.
At first, dropping into your energy flow when you feel the urge to overthink is a real challenge.
But you keep doing it. You keep practicing. You keep gathering evidence that it feels better this way.
Then, something truly magical happens:
You begin returning to your energy flow not because it gives you exactly what you want, but simply because it feels so good.
Before this, you might have tried trusting the flow because you wanted specific results. You might have thought, “I will trust this flow because I want certain things, and I have been told that this is the quickest way to achieve them.”
And that is completely valid—wanting things is a normal and important part of life!
But when you stay in the flow simply because it feels right, not for the outcomes it might bring, something changes. You step into your energy, things begin moving, and life feels wonderful. But then, you find yourself stepping out of the flow to check if you have reached your destination yet.
It is like floating on a lazy river, enjoying a perfect day with friends, feeling relaxed, happy, and content. But every so often, you get out to check if you are any closer to your goal.
“Oh, I am still not there. Well, I will just get back in and enjoy the ride.”
You step back into the river because it is going in the direction you want, and you realize this is the best way to get to where you want to go.
You settle back into the lazy river, feeling the warmth of the sun, the gentle water on your back, the peaceful sounds, and waving to your friends.
And at that moment, it feels wonderful. It feels just right.
This is the greatest life secret that I would teach everyone if I could:
When you focus only on the result, you keep jumping in and out of your flow. You speed up, then slow down, and then speed up again, only to slow down once more. This creates frustration because there is a constant tension between wanting to check your progress and truly enjoying the journey.
But when you stay in your energy flow for the joy it brings, not for the outcome, you feel amazing. You feel connected, whole, and at peace. Life starts to feel like magic, and everything flows effortlessly.
The magic happens when you let go of trying to control everything. As you do, the things you truly desire come into your life naturally. Your life begins to reflect your true self, your most authentic energy. Your life starts to mirror the energy you are living in, and everything that matches that energy starts to show up.
The people in your life begin to reflect that energy too. They are walking their own paths, moving in their own energy, and together, you create a joyful space where you cheer each other on.
Your emotions begin to align with this energy, and you feel joyful, trusting, and at ease. The feeling of trust becomes the most important part of this. Even when things do not look the way you imagined, the feeling of connection and trust becomes so strong that it no longer matters what is happening on the outside. What matters is how it feels inside.
This is how it works: being in your energy flow feels incredible. It feels like momentum, and every little synchronicity that happens only strengthens it. The amazing people you meet, the fun you have—everything reinforces this flow. And then, you look around and realize that things are falling into place exactly as you wanted, but you have not been worried about it. You have simply been enjoying the ride.
It does not matter how long it takes to get to where you want to go. You are enjoying the ride, and that is enough.
Your flow picks up speed the more you stay in it.
You are simply floating in your own energy stream, and life is rearranging itself around you to reflect that flow.
The key is that when you stay in your flow, you feel aligned and connected the entire time.
The more you focus on staying in your energy because it feels right, the faster everything around you starts to align with it. You end up getting where you want to be much faster, but by the time you reach your destination, it no longer matters. The journey itself has become the reward. It is no longer about the destination. It is about being in the flow with yourself, wherever that flow leads you.
And you know, without a doubt, that you can trust it.
